Hard Anodized Cookware WHAT IS HARD ANODIZING ?
Aluminmium is a high conductive material. Hence, cooking in aluminum vessel is more fuel efficient. However aluminum being soft It tends to scratch easily and looses its aesthetic appeal. To overcome these problems aluminum cookware is hard anodized. Hard anodizing is NOT A COATING but an integral part of the metal built molecule by an electro chemical process. This transforms the soft aluminum surface into an extremely stable and hard surface which is harder than stainless steel, i.e. More fuel efficient, scratch resistant and surface that will not get damaged by metallic spoon and flexible metal spatulas.
Cook on low and medium fire only. Use electric or gas stove. Do not put the cookware in microwave ovens. Do not leave an empty pot on a hot burner or in a heated oven. Do not expose the Bakelite handles to direct open flames. After each use, to maintain the attractive appearance & cooking efficiency, thoroughly clean piece after use with (preferably) warm water let the cookware cool after use. Rinse thoroughly and dry before storage.
Fuel efficient non-toxic, non-shining non-reactive with food dos not peel, crack, pit or rust. Hard surface permits use of steel spatulas, extremely smooth surface. Easy to clean.
